What are the main duties?
- Patrol areas on foot, on bicycle or in a vehicle.
- Maintain public peace and road safety.
- Intervene when emergency situations arise (accidents, crimes, disturbances, natural disasters, etc.).
- Investigate minor crimes and testify in court.
- Participate in crime prevention programs and safety initiatives.
- With other first responders, intervene in situations affecting civilian security (such as floods or ice storms).
