What are the main duties?
- Interpret doctor prescriptions.
- Analyze body movements with regard to rehabilitation.
- Take anthropometric measurements and take impressions.
- Make different orthoses and prostheses (such as artificial limbs, orthopedic girdles, supports).
- Adjust prostheses for patient comfort.
- Establish helping relations with patients and aid with their rehabilitation.
